According to research, a person is twenty times more likely to die from gun violence in the United States than in other developed countries. The U.S. gun ownership ratio per resident is 120.5 to 100, and nearly 53 people on average are killed by firearms every day in the United States. I wanted to show how common guns are in America and how gun violence and guns are as common as everyday breakfast like pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Here's a stack of 20 pancakes that represent not only the bulk of what Americans eat, but also statistics on how likely a person is to die from gun violence in the United States compared to other countries.
